Gold Coast Hauling is a locally owned and operated family business. I’m Chris Guarascio, H.J.S. (Head Junk Specialist!:-) Meet the Fam! My wife Stephanie (Dir Sales & Marketing), Daughter Bella (Resale specialist/vintage clothing/jewelry/Dir of Philanthropy), My Son Christian (Da Muscle!/Heavy moving specialist)
We offer an array of full service options to help residential Home/Estate and Commercial owners clean out and up! We eliminate any unwanted refuse, Junk, old furniture/appliances, misc business/office equipment, old electronics, clothing, yard waste, household chemicals/paints…basically, any unwanted household or commercial items. I started this business after seeing a need when we moved from our home of 27 years in San Clemente recently. We realized that we had collected an epidemic of “Stuff”...much more than we had ever gotten rid of over the years! It took us 4 months to remove everything we no longer needed or wanted while prepping our home for maximum resale value. We used a variety of different companies to get everything to the best place possible for the environment as this was important to us.
We ordered a mini dumpster from our trash service that was quickly filled, a dump “Junk” truck company who wanted to load & go asap to their next job, multiple trips to Goodwill/Salvation army who now turn away many items that we felt still had charitable value. More trips to the dump using my neighbor’s borrowed pick up truck to drop both old electronics, chemicals/paints and finally off to the landfill with the remaining Junk to be tossed!
It was an exhausting journey….as “they” say…moving is one of life’s most stressful events and it definitely felt that way! As tough as it was..this is where the seed was planted and through great adversity, Gold Coast Hauling was born! We can do it all with just one call!
